Wnt
Canonical Wnt signaling requires that b-catenin enter the nucleus in order to activate wnt target genes. By tagging b-catenin with GFP, we can monitor the localization of b-catenin at the cell cortex or in the nucleus.
Wnt signaling is essential for axis formation. By overexpression of wnt8 or b-catenin, we can induce secondary axes in frogs and create tadpoles with two body axes
